Just a few weeks!: Any one can regain muscle tone in just a few weeks to months of exercise assuming s/he is reasonably healthy. So always be sure to check w/your family doc before engaging in strenuous physical activity. Good nutrition is also key, too. If you're not familiar w/various exercises, get a physical therapist to watch over you first rather than a personal trainer (my bias). Just be prepared for soreness.
