I agree: I think waiting couple of months is not dangerous if your GI doctor is sure of the diagnosis.

I've been having GI issues for some time and have developed rectal pain and possibly a fissure, I also have a history of pilonidal cyst...could it all be related? The cyst came first 20 years ago. Could I have cancer? The Stool labs all show normal?
