TMJ: Sounds like TMJ syndrome. The temple mandibular joint (TMJ) is near your ear where your jaw bone connects to the skull. Inflammation or arthritis in the joint causes these symptoms. See your doctor.

Could be TMD...: Sounds like a possibility that you may be developing occluso-muscle symptoms of tmd. You may be clenching/grinding your teeth or have a bite problem. Seek an evaluation with a professional who treats TMJ disorders for an opinion if it is related...

TMJ: Sounds like TMJ. if it persists, see a TMJ expert. Any dentist can be a TMJ expert with the proper training and experience. Most commonly, oral surgeons, prosthodontists, and orofacial pain specialists. Ask your MD, your dentist and your dental society for referrals.
