Often ADHD: Medications are used for school or work situations and may not always be used on weekends unless the symptoms interfere with doing weekend activities (like homework assignments!) consult with the prescribing physician to decide. Cognitive behavioral therapy is also helpful.

Have evaluation: Speak to your doctor about your concerns. Have an evaluation for conditions that mimic ADHD symptoms including medical and psychological. If needed, have a neuropsychological evaluation to determine areas needing management. If medication may help, have a referral to a neruologist or psychiatrist.
