A member asked:

Can someone overcome severe adhd by strength of will ? or he'll need medications ?

Therapy can help: Medication is almost always needed. Force of will gets undermined by the disease itself. How can you monitor yourself 24 hours a day. It causes too much distractibility for that to be a reasonable solution except in the mildest of cases.

Snoring: Children with adhd frequently snore because they have large tonsils and they can't breathe easily during sleep. So they snore. This sleep apnea has been shown to be a factor in adhd. Soda evaluation with. An ENT may be indicated. Don't discount the power of will power. It can work wonders, but help maybe needed with this approach. Good luck.
