Yes MRI: Your neurologist is doing exactly what they should. If you are having seizures and have not yet had an MRI of the brain without and with IV contrast, then you should. A tumor can cause seizures and that possibility needs to be ruled-out.

Several possible: Causes. A brain tumor can cause seizures, but so can epilepsy. The MRI will help determine the cause.
