My 4 month old baby is formula feed he has a virus vomiting dr said to keep giving him fluids what should i do with giving him formula?

Vomiting: The first thing to do is break the cycle of vomiting. Give small, frequent amounts of pedialyte- start with 1/2 oz and increase gradually every 1/2 hour. If that works, after 3-4 hours, you can gradually offer small amounts of formula. Go slowly and don't rush it. If the vomiting persists, call your doctor again.
