My 15 month old son has had vomiting and diahrea on/off for 2.5 wks. we have seen the doctor twice who says this is a virus. any advice to stop it?

Second opinion: Stomach flu is an annoying event at any age but when I hear of this pattern lasting more than 10 days I have to think of other issues - this may be diet related or symptoms of another disease process. How's the weight? Anyone else sick in the house?
