C. difficile: This can recur for several reasons, either inadequate treatment, treatment with drugs that do not affect the spore form of the organism, reinfection (usually from a life partner), high organism loads without reconstitution of normal colon flora, etc. You can have this eradicated but need input from an expert in this area. See an infectious diseases doctor.
