C. difficile: This can recur for several reasons, either inadequate treatment, treatment with drugs that do not affect the spore form of the organism, reinfection (usually from a life partner), high organism loads without reconstitution of normal colon flora, etc. You can have this eradicated but need input from an expert in this area.
