Try Gabapentin: Gabapentin has been used to treat withdrawal from alcohol and other drugs (benzodiazepines and opiates). It does not interact adversely with alcohol, and protects against seizures while undergoing withdrawal. Ref: D.F. Zullino, A. Miozzari, M.
