Possible: If the cancer involves the distal esophageal sphincter, the valve which separates the esophagus and stomach it is possible that it could cause acid reflux.

REFLUX: Laryngopharyngeal reflux (LPR) is the retrograde flow of gastric contents into the larynx, oropharynx and/or the nasopharynx. If you have concerns about cancer consult with an ENT or Gastroenterologist for examination and diagnosis.
