How do i get an eyelash out of my eye easy water doesn't work fast and good?

Friend to help: An eyelash floating in the tear fluids that you can see in a mirror, sometimes is help by capillary forces and is hard to simply flush out. It will stick to a cotton tip applicator. You might be able to get it out with this but a friend can see it easier and use the cotton tip to get it out.
