Normal Reflex Action: It is most likely a normal reflex action for you - similar to how dogs will shake their bodies to dry off. To be more scientific about it, our ears help control our balance and anything abnormal (water) in the canal can cause us to have a variety of unusual reactions. To be certain, mention it to your md on your next routine appointment but if it's been more than a year, it is time for a check up.

Seizure?: If this is uncontrolled, it could be a sign of a more serious underlying condition which merits MRI or eeg evaluation.
