Maybe: Septoplasty is a procedure for deviated septum. The septum divides your nose in half. Everyone has some deviation. If you are symptomatic, have breathing problems which are not helped by medical treatment then you may need this surgery.

Reshape the septum: "plasty" means to change, as in the shape. Septoplasty is a surgery where the nasal septum is reshaped to improve the nasal airway anatomy.

Deviated septum?: A deviated septum can be corrected surgically to bring the septum to the midline. If there are symptoms like nasal obstruction, snoring or recurrent sinusitis, have your nose evaluated by a board certified otolaryngologist.
