Generally No: Septoplasty, surgery for a deviated septum, modifies bone and cartilage inside the nose to improve nasal airflow. The nasal septum is the foundation of the nose and also contributes to its appearance. Septoplasty is often combined with rhinoplasty to both improve the inside and outside of the nose.
