Yes: A professional tattoo ink isn't henna so if you became allergic its not due to that ink however henna is not always safe. On occasion it causes a darkening of the skin, a thickening of the skin and allergic reactions on the skin. Henna allergy would cause itching, swelling and redness on the areas of application. If this is happening wash it off and do not use henna anymore
