Rash at site: Reactions to henna tattoos is not uncommon and can be due to phenylenediamine. The rash is called contact dermatitis and is similar in nature to poison ivy or nickel allergy type rash.

If you get a rash: If you get a bumpy rash around the site of the henna (similar to poison ivy), then you are probably allergic to henna.
