See your doc: See your family doc who may start treatment at that time or refer you on to a psychiatrist. You should also be referred to a psychologist for psychotherapy as it is well-known that both medication and therapy together provide the best results. PTSD: You have a number of excellent options available to you. Consider cognitive processing therapy which is a form of cognitive behavioral therapy that is specific for post traumatic stress disorder. Emdr , group therapy, virtual reality exposure therapy and psychiatric medications are all good forms of treatment. Good luck.
