A member asked:

I went to a different dentist this week and they took a few bite wing x-rays. should i be worried about this?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Not at all: I would be worried if the dentist did not take x-rays to be able to see between teeth and evaluate bone integrity. All x-ray exposure is cumulative, solo dentists are very conscious about your radiation exposure and do everything they can to reduce exposure while at the same time collecting the information they need to provide you with the best possible treatment.
