See an OFP ASAP: Some patients with TMD/TMJ can experience severe pain and discomfort that can be temporary or last for many years. See an orofacial pain (OFP) practitioner for a consultation and management of the TMJ.

Jaw pain: You have not provided enough information: where exactly is the jaw pain, what makes it hurt (hot, cold, biting/chewing), did you do anything to cause it to hurt in the first place, is there any swelling? When was the last time you had a dental examination?See a dentist for a clinical and visual examination and diagnosis.
