Many reasons.... : It can be due to simple inflammation of your gums, all the way up to a full fledged periodontal diseases. Or.. It can be due to grinding and clenching your teeth together, specially at nights, while you are asleep. Other possibilities , but if you have soreness of upper teeth...Could be sinus pressures behind the roots of upper teeth. See your dentist for a thorough check up and examination.
