Unusual: I bet most of us here would defer to your nephrologist for this answer. This is a highly unusual experience. I am very happy to hear that the stents were removed. I would hope that your physician discussed their views on your future risk. If they didn't this would be a good question to ask of them since they know your anatomy specifically.
