Discogenic: In your age group, recent studies suggest the primary cause of persistent low back pain is the lumbar disc. I suggest a high field (1.5 tesla or greater) mri. You may have primary discogenic pain or internal disc derangement , which may be manifested as annular tears on mri. In this condition, sitting is most uncomfortable , producing axial lumbar pain sharp or burning. Discography can be useful.
