Give your doc: Give your doctor time to find the dose that is right for you. Currently the dose is not high enough. You will notice it when it kicks in. See your doctor and discuss this with him or her and i think you'll find a successful solution to your add or adhd. This wishes.

Right away. : Effect is with first dose but often it is the people around you who notice first. The dose may need to be increased or medication changed. There is a group of people who do not respond to Ritalin (methylphenidate) but will respond to Adderall (dextroamphetamine and racemic amphetamine) ( amphetamine) related medications. It should be a slow and deliberate process to find right treatment. Treatment is long term. Be patient.
