Ritalin (methylphenidate): Ritalin (methylphenidate) can help you focus. However, it seems that your dose needs to be adjusted. If you are falling asleep in class the Ritalin (methylphenidate) may be keeping you awake at night. If not then you need a stronger dose. Consult your doctor to get your dose regulated.
