A member asked:

Why do i a dominate follicole on my ovary if i'm postmapause? the ovary has 6.8cc in volume compared 2 the other of 2.3cc what does all this mean ?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Ovarian cyst: Postmenopausal patients can still have ovarian cysts. Depending on size and cyst characteristics the physician and patient can elect to just obersve the cyst for a few weeks or perform labs to rule out potentially malignant tumors of the ovary. Either way follow up its necessary.
