Limitations of BMI: The bmi is best used in a population, and there are many limitations for use in individuals, and your situation highlights yet another of these limitations. A percent body fat measure can be done, but it is not well standardized. Rather than focus on a bmi, focus on healthy living: diet, exercise that you can do, stress reduction, prevention, etc.
