I have kyphosis but because of my age spinal fusion surgery is not an option. i am curious to know when i see my doctor and get weighed , is my bmi correct ? ive lost height. bmi is normal. should my bmi be calculated on how tall i used to be ?

The standard BMI formula does not apply to those with spinal deformities that affect height. Have someone do body fat measurements by saying measuring skin folds. Or ask your Dr to look at you and discuss.
