Torn fascia: Antiinflammatories are a good suggestion alleve, ibuprofen, or advil. Or ice your foot and ankle is weak from being in the boot for 4 weeks. Theraband exercises could help strengthen your ankle coupled with range of motion exercises.

If you still have: The boot you can consider going back into it and see how you fair. You could have a strapping applied to your foot. You can ice the foot. You can take an antiinflammatory if not contraindicated. The question is what is the pain coming from. Your doctor should be able to tell you that...And offer a suggestion.

OTC insert: You can try an over the counter insert for the time being. Rest, athletic shoes and a NSAID may help also. Confirm with your podiatrist first.
