See your dentist: See your dentist for an examination and evaluation of tmj/tmd. Most TMJ pain results from chronic teeth grinding and/or clenching, and also from malocclusion (a bad bite). Tmd can cause headache, migraine, and head and neck pain. Your dentist can determine the cause of the pain and an appropriate treatment.

See a TMJ/TMD Dr.: I would recommend seeing a tmj/tmd specialist to determine a plan for treatment. Your head hurting may be caused by some other disorder rather than tmj. See a specialist soon.
