See dentist: Sounds different. Color may blend in with rest of tooth in a day or so when they all get remoistened. Smell - ? Possibly you are smelling or referring to smell of materials used to prepare and place the filling. Should be no smell after it is finished. See dentist if it persists. Good luck.
