Procedure or healing: The actual procedure for one implant without other complications can take about 1-2 hrs. It is painless and very simple these days. The healing time before a crown can be placed in most cases is around 4 mos. However, coupled with other procedures such as bone augmentation, sinus lift, etc., it may take more time for both the procedure and healing times.
