Wash with soap: Obviously rinse the soap off once your aligner is clean.

Dr Baskin is correct: Once your trays are gum-free, the next step is to throw away the package of gum. If you chew gum w appliances in, you will damage/break your trays and have to pay for replacements. If you take the trays out to chew gum you are missing precious time in appliances, and you will compromise the treatment result.

Ice cube: Possibly placing the edge of a ice cube on the gum area, hold it there and then try and dislodge. Better to leave gum alone.
