Why............: Do you doubt your dentists? Preventing periodontal disease saves you from requiring more costly dental treatment. If they were dishonest, they would want you to neglect your teeth so that they could perform more costly treatment later on. Studies have shown that dentists are considered to be one, of if not the most respected and trusted groups of people.
