Proper hygiene: you can go to the dentist every month if you want to, but you still need to brush and floss every day, and if you already have periodontal disease and spaces between the teeth you need to use special inter-proximal brushes or floss. Don't forget the mouth wash.

Hygiene and Diet: A good oral hygiene is essential for good oral health. Brushing and flossing after every meal. Avoid chewy, Crunchy and sticky food that requires more maintenance. Hope that helps.

Floss, brush etc: floss, floss, FLOSS....did I say floss;) Also proper brushing style and yearly periodontal dental exams help out tremendously
