Great question!: You are a great patient already! as a dental professional, it's nothing like being able to help people who care enough to prepare for a dental appointment. Brush and floss as well as you can, and ask if you need to do better, and how. It is also good to bring a list of your questions, and a pen to take notes. If you have medical conditions, letting the dental office know prior to visit is helpful.
