Dental Provider: It is the dentist who is treating you for that specific problem or treatment that determines the medication needed. Just going to another office does not get you another prescription. State agencies monitor prescription drug use and the prescriber needs to justify the meds given. The new dentist would have no basis to prescribe you more pain meds since they did not perform the procedure.

Not easy: You may find a dentist that'll give you the script but...pain meds are monitored through a pharmacy network and that doc and others that have written you pain meds will receive a call or a letter from the pharmacy. So you may be shutting a door very tight, unless you are will to travel quite far away. And even then...it might not work.
