ER: Many ers do not have dentists. Look for a hospital that does have a dental department and call ahead to make sure there is a dentist on call. Good luck.

Dry socket pain: You will most likely spend hours in the emergency room only to be given pain medication, perhaps an antibiotic and told to see your dentist in the morning. Even if the hospital has a dental department, they may not see you as this is not considered a true emergency. I would not go to a dentist or physician who had no emergency notification system in place. See if your local pharmacy has something.
