Not good idea: Baby teeth are almost paper white. Permanent teeth have more depth of color. When permanent teeth erupt next to baby teeth they look dark, but really are not. Ask your dentist to show you, on a shade guide, just how white your child's permanent teeth really are. Also know if teeth are overly whitened they look artificial.
