No: No and not sure why you had the metallic taste nor the pain. Perhaps you brushed too hard? You will have to personally see a dentist who can examine you and give you more insight regarding your issues.

Not possible: Fluoride does not have a taste, nor does it cause pain. Short of injecting toothpaste directly into your tongue there is no way for toothpaste or fluoride to "get inside". Fluoride is not absorbed directly by the oral mucosa. What you are tasting is most likely the bacteria that were previously hiding in the crevasses that are now liberated from brushing it. Brush gently to avoid pain.
