Physical ed ?: I assume pe is physical ed. Exercise induced asthma is a condition that only seems to occur during vigorous exercise and not linked to the routine "triggers" of asthma. See you physician and get tested.

Short of breath: If you start developing short of breath , wheezing when breathing out, chest tightness, and/or coughing about 10 minutes after starting your exercise, it is likely from asthma. At times, these symptoms may not come on until after exercise. In elite athletes, these symptoms may also develop in the absence of asthma with extreme exertions but most people would not likely be in that category.
