Earlier today i started choking, trying to cough it up triggered an asthma attack now, hours later coughing causes terrible pain to shoot down my arms?

Needs an evaluation : It is common for asthma to be triggered by aspiration into the airway. A coughing spell may induce chest pain. However, if the pain is shooting down the left arm, more serious underlying causes such as the pain from heart needs to be ruled out.
