A member asked:

Do petichiae go away? if they do was it something else that wasn't serious? can they be felt? what if there is only one. could it still be serious?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Maybe: Petecchiae can not be felt--bruises caused by low platelets may be felt. The patient needs to be be seen by his pediatrician or hematologist.. The reason for the petecchiae may be serious--can be caused by virus or more signifiant illness. Petecchiae do go away over time.
