Petichiae: Petechia are non-blanching, circumscribed, flat, small (less than 3mm) dermal hemorrhagic spot. Causes usually associated with platelet dysfunction, but pressure can be a possibility too. This would not be typical problem associated with laparoscopic surgery. You should let your provider know about the problem.
