YES: Yes, but you have to determine what is making your BP to go up. If it is diet, you have to adjust that too. If it is stress, take it easy, etc.

Probably so: For most people, the target for blood pressure is lower than 140/90. However, if you have special circumstances such as diabetes or chronic kidney disease, your target may be lower than that. If you are still running in the 90's diastolic, in spite of being on medication, you should probably adjust lifestyle, diet, medication, or all 3 to get below 90 consistently.

Yes: It doesn't sound like much but averaging 140/85 will shorten your life by about 2 years. See your doctor and get it adjusted.

HTN: It sounds like your preasure isn't well controlled on your current treatment. Try to watch your salt intake and stay active. You are young to have such issues with htn. Try to lose some weight, even 10lbs can make a big difference.

Probably : Optimal BP is 120/80, 130/80 is fine. Systolic BP in the 130's is considered pre-hypertension. Perhaps an adjustment of your meds or switching Lisinopril to a lisinopril/water pill combo might help. Of course, if you're overweight, lose weight. Cut sodium intake. Exercise for 2 1/2 hours/week. Maximize lifestyle changes.
