Not a treatment: Coconut h2o is primarily sugar water and shouldn't be used for this purpose. Healing gastritis takes a more integrative approach looking at :diet, stress, lifestyle, etc. Sometimes gastritis needs to be healed with medication. There are a variety of supplements and dietary changes that can be very helpful as can cutting out alcohol and spicy food. Talk to your doctor about finding the right plan.

Lower stomach acid: Gastritis is usually treated by reducing the consumption of acidic foods and beverages, eating small meals 5 times/day to absorb stomach acid, and taking antacids like calcium carbonate, acid-reducers such as ranitidine (zantac), or acid-blockers like Omeprazole (prilosec). Sometimes it can be due to a stomach bacteria (h. Pylori) which can lead to ulcers. Figuring out the cause is important.
