Not necessarily: Post nasal drip has many causes, allergy being only one of them. If you have never had symptoms of allergy before, simple irritation of your nose or dryness can be the cause of your symptoms. A simple measure would be to rinse your nose with saline (there are lots of otc preparations). If this solves the problem, fine. If it continues, see a physician.
