Possible cancer: The nodules could be malignancies so it would not be a good idea to wait. The earlier cancer is detected and treated, the higher remission and cure rates are. Even non-smokers can get cancer whether exposed to second-hand smoke or not.

Depends on size: If nodules are less than 1 cm. F/u in 3-6 mo appropriate assuming no other medical issues. Need job history . And any symtoms that proveked the original ct.
