Inflammatory nodules: However, an suv of greater than 2.5 is considered suspicious and that nodule should be biopsied.

Infection, sarcoidos: While cancer is the major concern, other things such as infection (tb), fungus, or sarcoidosis might look like this. A biopsy should give the answer and i would proceed with it as soon as possible.
