They can be,: But not always. Panic disorder is also partly genetic. But on that continuum, the best place to make a difference is learning to manage your stress in the best possible way for you. Make an appointment with a therapist who can help you with this.

More like a mix.: The first three often are used interchangably, though they differ. One can feel "stressed, " which usually means worried and anxious, but stress also makes people worried and anxious. One could be worried without necessarily being anxious. Panic attacks, though, are a different level. They are a specific reaction to anxiety to which some people are vulnerable and others are not.

Panic/worry: All are inter-connected. Basically, excess worrying & fear leads to panic which leads to avoidance & more worrying.
